    Changes to the law around parental leave take effect from 1 April 2015 For any child born or adopted on or after 1 April; or any child whose expected date of delivery is on or after 1 April (even if born before) your employee (or yourself if self-employed) will now be entitled to 16 weeks IRD paid parental leave payments.
