ERA Changes - 6 March 2015

The new National Government has made it happen ... now you need to prepare.

Perhaps the key impacts are as follows:

  • Where you have a Collective Employment Agreement with a Union there are a number of procedural changes; but key is that you no longer have to put non-union members into Collective terms for the first 30 days, except where you have agreed with the Unions.
  • Breaks will be able to be more flexibly provided
  • Everyone will have a right to request "flexible hours"
