Covid-19 – Applying for a Wage Subsidy – Deadline Thursday 2nd Sept

Subsidy for the period 17 – 30 August 2021

As I told you on August 20^th, the Wage Subsidy for the first two-week period was open for two weeks.  I had thought that closed last night, but apparently you can still claim for a Wage Subsidy for the first two-week period (beginning Tuesday 17^th August) – but must do so before 23:59 hrs tomorrow Thursday 2^nd September.

To be able to access it there are a few hurdles to jump through.  So before filling the on -line form, make sure you have read the detail they require you to.  This site takes you to the detail and then to the application form:

Subsidy for the period 31 August – 13 September 2021

This subsidy can only be claimed from Friday – I believe the same website will be used.  So if you are unable to operate under level 3 you should also have a good 40% drop in revenue for this fortnight too – and should prepare to submit your claim.  I imagine if you have already tried to claim for the second week you will be told you have already got it – best to wait until Friday!
