Wage Increases

It's that time of year again.  Minimum Wage rates will increase by 3.2% on 1 April - going to $15.75 per hour.  That puts pressure on salaries for all your employees currently paid not much above the minimum.  December CPI shows overall CPI increases over the past year at 1.3% (although figures do indicate that for lower income families the increases are probably more like 2%).

Now is a good time to plan for how you intend to address the wage creep in your organisation and plan for the impact of 1 April.

If you would like assistance developing a  strategy for this I am only too willing to help.
