Penalties for breach of Minimum Standards

Be aware, the Courts are starting to award serious fines for breaches of minimum wages and holiday records legal requirements.  Two companies were recently ordered to pay $100,000 after breaching both.  In this case they were significant breaches, like no holiday records at all.

It is only a matter of time before MBIE inspectors start hitting at any organisation that does not have these minimums right - and ignorance is no excuse.  So if you have any doubts, please check in with us - better a $50 phone call than a $50,000 fine!
