Everyone, it seems is becoming more aware of bullying and its degrading impact. From people in general to the government and the Courts. A recent case resulted in 17 months' lost wages and a $15,000 compensation award - on the back of being bullied into submission after lodging a bullying complaint. $98,000!
Bullying never works - it is toxic - it is demoralising - it is expensive. Above all it treats someone as nothing. The challenge is that some managers just don't see the difference between valid giving of instructions and bullying behaviours to enforce them.
